Our Story
Helen's Restaurant has been a cornerstone of Concord, Massachusetts since the early 1930s. Founded by Helen Denisevich, a Russian immigrant who "did the homestyle cooking while her husband Paul did the serving," the restaurant became an instant beloved local institution.
The legacy passed through three generations of the Denisevich family. In the 1950s, George — Helen's son — expanded the family's reach by opening The Fairway on Lexington Road, a dinner and dancing venue that became a community landmark. In 1984, Paul, Helen's grandson, opened Brigham's Cafe at the original location, continuing the tradition of warm hospitality and satisfying food.
In 2003, the name returned to Helen's Restaurant — a heartfelt tribute to the woman who started it all. Today, the restaurant carries on that tradition with an extensive menu featuring old-fashioned American favorites and innovative diverse dishes, always using fresh, seasonal produce from local farmers including The Farm at Walden Woods.
We now feature iWave air purification for a clean, safe dining environment. Gift cards available. Accepts all major credit & debit cards.
